Clandestine production

 The soviet plush carpet with dears has many myths in many personal stories. This grandmother's inheritance on the wall has become a funny "meme" long ago. But of course the myth is strong and will survive this.

 

My project with the plush carpets is about kitsch and doubtful artefacts that we smuggle in from our past and from former experience. We forgive them for bad taste, for too frank or vulgar qualities. We adore them for something personal, intimate and humane.

 

Maybe this is the way the artist brings into the art field his own vision, new ideas, new mediums? Perhaps those artifacts bring intriguing discoveries, captivating with originality and becoming distinctive features, the author's style, influencing all Art in general.

The visualisation method follows the idea of artefact's transformation in one's perception, reconstructing artifact into a white paper, influencing personal mythology.
